A main goal of our physical education department is to provide opportunities for the students to participate in a variety of fitness activities.  We hope these opportunties will spark life long interest in fitness.
 
 
Fitness Room:  Two days per week students will perform circuit train on Life Fitness machines.  All lifts will emphasize proper form with 12-15 reps while completing the rotation.  The lifts will work all major muscle groups.  
 
 
Workout of the Week:  A second fitness day each week will consist of a variety of cardio activities, body weight activities, and footwork and agility activities.  These workouts will be able to be adjusted by the students to match up with their own fitness level.
 
Fitness Challenge:   The third rotation of fitness days will include a variety of fitness challenges for the kids to perform.  Strength, stamina, balance, and persistance will all be qualities needed to complete these challenges.
